Brain Endurance Training.
There is overwhelming evidence showing the impact of mental fatigue on human performance. Brain Endurance Training (BET) enhances endurance performance over physical training alone.
We asked 100 athletes from various sports including football, boxing, tennis, basketball, MMA, what is the 4 most important tools for their sport ?
85% picked the brain as the number 1 most important tool.
Second phase – We asked the same100 athletes to pick the 4 main areas of development where they spend their time training ?
Skill / Technique being number 1 only 3 percent listed brain/mental training in their top 4.
The software used for our cognitive training was used in a 4 week BET training study with a group of footballers. The group that had followed an intense BET training programme along side their physical training, improved attention by 40 percent and decreased rate of errors by 74%. This was just 2 of many improvements. The BET group also had a 22% higher training workload, yet still beat the non BET group on all performance markers.
